The Pen Method (Implanter Pen Technique) or DHI (Direct Hair Implantation) is the injection of the roots taken with the FUE Method into the skin through the pen (Implanter). It is a more advanced, successful, painless process combined with rapid healing in the field of hair transplantation.
With the DHI technique, hair follicles are planted one by one. Each hair follicle, with its unique angle, direction and depth, is planted using the DHI pen developed only for its special features. The transplanted hair will grow throughout the person's whole life and an occurance of hair loss is not possible. The entire procedure is carried out by specialist doctors trained on DHI. In this method, hair follicles are extracted one by one from the donor area and shaped as 1mm or smaller pieces with special tools. Roots are preserved at the appropriate temperature and in special solutions without breaking up, cutting or touching. Hair follicles are directly planted in the target are with the DHI pen technique, in 1mm or smaller sizes, without opening holes and cuts beforehand. As a result of applying the depth, direction and angle to each graft separately, hair roots thrive for a lifetime without shedding.
